Leeanne Clegg
Program Assistant
Leeanne has lived, worked and raised her family in Spokane County since 1991. She holds a BA in Elementary and Special Education as well as graduate studies in education and counseling.
Leeanne’s discovered her love of teaching underserved populations when attending undergraduate school at Carroll College in Helena Montana. She built her career in special education and while raising her family branched out to volunteer in her other areas of interest.
This included serving for many years on boards and governing bodies to increase the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of women within her religious community. She volunteered and worked as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault for Lutheran Community Services. For over 6 years she has served overseeing 12 step programs in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho – including training and supporting group leaders and attendees.
Leeanne is excited to join the staff of HSSA, and looks forward to following the work of it's grant recipients.
