Chandima Bandara is the CEO of Photon Biosciences and Precision Quantomics, and an Operations Manager at Amazon. At Photon Biosciences, he has been instrumental in developing a platform technology for biological imaging, securing substantial non-dilutive funding and integrating advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning. At Precision Quantomics, Chandima leads efforts to accelerate pharmaceutical drug development by incorporating quantitative proteomics into drug development databases and systems as well as improving clinical trials by including underrepresented populations through advanced technologies. His role at Amazon showcases his skills in strategic planning, process optimization, and crisis management, leading initiatives to improve operational performance, safety, and efficiency. Chandima holds a Professional Science Master's in Biotechnology Business Management and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Washington State University, along with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Agricultural Biology from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Actively involved in community organizations such as the Rotary Club of Spokane (Club 21) and a past president of the Rotary Club of Pullman, he also served as a board member for the Animal Health Institute (AHI), where he played a pivotal role in shaping industry policies and advancing veterinary science.
